The sport you’ll never stop loving!

Sports has always been an integral part of the human civilization. India in particular is crazy about Cricket. We can always find street urchins playing gully cricket with great enthusiasm and concentration. But it is also evident that due to more global exposure and foreign influence, other sports such as football, basketball and rugby are catching up. Football particularly has become a favourite among the 356 millions 10-24 year olds in India.

Football has become one of the runaway remedies to distract my mind from the daily hustles. It has become a part of my daily schedule. It isn’t just a game for me anymore, it brings happiness and peace to my hungry soul. So whenever I’m free, I make it a point to badger all my friends to pick up their kits and head to the turf! My current favourite place to play Football is the Fun & Fitness turf in Mukund Nagar.

Fun N Fitness provides world class sports facilities and infrastructure for the grassroots level public. This model ensures a holistic sports development programme, making the arena an ideal platform for sports development and sports education. FnF aims at grassroots development of sports. Having world-class turfs as personal assets, FnF goes beyond just a sports arena. It is able to reach out to and engage the community through sport.

It provides a field for sportspersons and a playground for the children. FnF also provides coaching for the kids at a fee. The turf is for 7 a side and the rates are much cheaper as compared to other turfs(a great opportunity for all the college peeps out there, a cheaper and more fit option to video games) Its just Rs. 2000/- in flood lights and Rs. 1500/- otherwise. The best part of this arena is it’s open for 24hrs!

Places like these fill in the need for open spaces in the cramped cities and helps encourage the need and spirit of sports in our life. Sports helps us to socialize and meet people with the same interests. Fun n Fitness provides a play field fit for all ages and helps in making some amazing memories ( I can totally attest to that!!) I would definitely recommend FnF for all the football enthusiasts and the not so much(it never hurt to try, did it?) Go out there this weekend and come back home with a few grams off your weight and loads of fun memories.
